NEW YORK, March 15, 2012 --There are a handful of must-go carpet shows for anyone who wants to see the incredible variety of top quality pieces being made in the carpet world today. Acclaimed as one of the industry’s “must-go” trade sources for high-end handmade carpets, NYICS is held at the prestigious 7 West New York Showrooms, directly across from the Empire State Building at 5th Avenue and 34th Street in midtown Manhattan. This convenient location is just steps away from New York’s carpet district and creates an unequalled anchor destination in the middle of New York City.
“NYICS elevates the brands of our artisan carpetmakers and extends our reach into a larger and more varied pool of buyers,” says Dodds. A national trade database and promotion to the influential design community pulls new faces to NYICS. The show will be cross-marketed with the huge New York Home Fashions Market that runs the same week.

The great thing about these kinds of events is that they open up new opportunities for carpet manufacturers to gain exposure for their products, and it also introduces people to new carpet styles and designs in the market today. It practically opens a whole new world of possibilities. What would make this even better is if the organizers find a way to have carpet cleaning experts on set to discuss how to take care of carpets.
